Since I had made my promise in the morning, I will adhere to it. Much of the holiday assisgnments are near completion now. Thank goodness. All's left are the projects. Namely, the Chinese and IPW. I am rather sick of the IPW. It started last year and until now,my group is walking aimlessly, still quarreling over minorities. Sigh. Forget it. I rather not drown myself in this misery. Maybe some other day will do. Lol.
Got a new book recently. Title is "Holy Blood..Holy Grail". To those who have watched Arts Central's Da Vinci Code Uncoded, the book should ring a bell. I must admit, I was really pulled into it. What started out as a casual read(Angels and Demons) turns out to be such a bookish adventure to me. Ha. Sounds kinda unrealistic eh? Right now, I am reading through the life of the Knights Templar. It is very enriching, I must say.
Nothing much really took place this week. I continue my quest to take more pictures of cats found prowling for food in the neighbourhood. So far, I have gotten about 30 plus pictures. 5 of which I will be posting in this entry. Do comment. Anyway, while photography the feline friends, I got a lot of queer looks from passers-by. I don't blame them. Who the hell will want to take pictures of these filthy organisms eh? I vividly remembered one Ah Soh. She pointed that long, skinny index finger at me and mumbled something into her daughter's ear. Must be bad. My guess is "That boy is sick. Nothing better to do. Must be a drop-out. Good for nothing. Don't you dare be like him when you grow up!". What the heck. This is the holiday for crying out loud. Can't I just do something out of the ordinary? It is not like I attempt to swallow a sword or jump off a building or something. Sheesh. I must say, life ain't interesting without gossip. Therefore, I won't be surprised if the next time I go to the market, Ah Sohs and Ah Peks will be casting weird and devilish glances at me. Heh.
On the other hand, my subjects were much much better. Cats seems to know when to keep still, in my case that is. I remembered one cat. This feline just looked straight into my camera. Its look placid and maybe sweet. My, is it just me, or are cats natural photography subjects. Cool is it not? Of course, some are not interested. Just walking away. Or worse, some just dart away from you when you get close to them.. What on earth have we humans done??! Anyway, I leave you with some of my pictures and this question: What will happen if a dog meets a cat?
1) The dog beats, bites rather, the daylight out of the cat.
2) The cat and dog both fights ferociously and there is no clear victor
3) The dog immediately rans away
4) The cat rushes off
~Kindly tag your answer at the tag board. Thanks. Da.
