It's Monday and I'm dying for Friday to make its entrance

Monday today. I cannot recollect what the date today is but as if that would even make any difference.
The day was unusually mundane today. There's was the ever tense Chemistry Practical that we had to sit through today. Then biology, where suddenly, everyone was erect when she stepped in. Think straight please. After which, it was recess when the usual stream of students congregated at the same stalls queuing up for the same food. It will be a sin to complain here; People in Africa are starving as we speak. The bell rang at 11.10- must as well make it 1111, and we had to climb up 7 stories back to that corner classroom. Physics was up next and trust me, Varella didn't had that much fun as he had hoped teaching this class. The burst of energy we had, maybe excluding me and a couple of others, during Biology vaporised instantly when he stepped it. Talk about abrupt endings. If you can actually see, I'm not paragraphing.

Hall Assembly was a talk on blogging. There were quite a number of eyes fixated on me during then but I was too exhausted to actually return the stare.

I had lunch at Aljunied with Julian-weird choice of company I know.

There will be 2 tests this week. Geography on Thursday and Social Studies on Wednesday. Since the latter test is opened book, I just have to underline the necessities and pray that none of those monstrous questions that rips my mind apart made its appearance. I detest Humanities as it disdains me. Boo.

It's only the 3rd week of school. That leaves a couple of months before O levels. Alright, maybe I should be looking forward to the holidays instead. Some times, just at certain times, I wish I was somewhere far far away. Be it in some meadow or by some placid lake, I'll be just lying there and looking as the clouds mould themselves into shapes that they deem fit. Anyway, that kind of reality will only happen after I am sealed up in a coffin and buried in soil. Nah, I rather be cremated.

I need to head out. Breathe a little fresh air. But everyone just seems so cooped up with revision. I wonder if anyone of them tried studying outside

this used to be a funhouse. But now it’s full of evil clowns.
