School isn't that intriging anymore
Detention class kicks in tomorrow; Or if some whacko in school is that desperate, it's inauguration(am i using the word correctly?) will commence at 12 midnight. Right after Cold Case on 5.
I don't think school's all that jovial anymore. No it isn't. There are project presentations, pop quizzes- thanks to justina-, mind-wrecking notes to memorize-credit to fmp- and chemistry as well. The number of tests that are coming in our way is staggering. It's so many and tedious to study that I am freaked out.
This is also why now, PE seems like such a nice time and recess is like the only time availabe in the entire time-table for us to think of other stuff except equations, theories, principles. I swear that if I someone can influence someone in the MOE, I will try to demand more time during recess. More time to rest and recharge; And less time spent on stuffing down so much food into our mouth.
I'm in the midst of building up my vocabulary these days. In short, I spend 20 minutes each night-reading myself to sleep-, and try to digest as many indecipherable words as possible. Actually, I spend more time refering to Longman then I do reading the article. What I read bores people, so let's not get into that.
These are the words that I've learnt so far.
English 101 from the guy who fluncked it.
Incandescent: Very red or means to be in a rage. >>Incandescent with rage. That's pretty much how I felt when I got a 11 upon 15 for my E:Math.
Iffy: This word means doubtful. Examples for this is in abundance.
Surreptitious means secretly
Susceptible means impressionable
Frazzled means tired after a long and tiring journey.
Onslaught means a fierce attack.
Agnostic means not believing in the supernatural but not admiting it as well.
Debilitating means a somewhat weakening opinion of sorts.
Tete-a-tete: I don't know how to add in the hanyu pinyin symbols. This is a french word and it means to have a private conversation. Sounds really classy.
Deficit means surplus. That's if I'm not mistaken.
Debonair means to be confident and fashionable. Gee, that sounds awefully familiar to someone I know.
That's pretty much it that I can think offhand.
7 more chapters to go. Kam-whatever teh.
