There is no such word as "tired" in my dictionary.
Ok. To get down to reality for once, I truly am exhausted.
It may only be the 4th day of school till date, but already you can feel the tension and stress in the atmosphere. Everyday in school is pure druggery.
Math has lost its appeal; I lose interest at the moment I see some new exercises to be down.
Chemistry has become a lot more vexing with the new facts and theories and principles.
The lists goes on and on.
I really need to find that spark that gives me that drive to push on.
God save me.
I think the Practical today was really interesting. KhooYE was hovering around my seat-for reasons only she knows- and prompting me again and again not to use too much dilute acid. Gee. The accounts must be in the reds. Anyway, I got on her nerves a couple of times with the HCL solution and the Limewater. That until where things got a wee bit more...What's the word. Yes.
Intricate.
The last 2 experiments dealt with concentrated acid solution. This is a great difference compared to the dilute acid.
Why?
For dilute HCL for example, when it comes into contact with your skin; It will cause it to itch like crazy and you will be scratching it like a chimp.
But for concentrated acid, if it comes into contact with your skin; You will be lucky if you could even feel your hand. The lab become a tad quieter when we were handling with these "life-damning" substances. It made things a lot more tricky when we actually had to heat the acid.
I will be blunt. I was extremely scared. Scared that I will permanently scar someone for life when the hot acid spurts out of the test tube and if my already horrible acne prone face getting mutilated by HCL.
It wasn't funny really.
Hmm..I guess I was the only chicken in the lab. Ah. What the heck. At least everyone left the lab ok.
I think the Discipline Committee has lost it. They have turned Mshs into some sort of a Boot Camp.
Detention!
Detention!
Detention!
That pretty much sums up the "I Care" program. Ya. You sure care a lot.
Detention for not wearing the school badge and name tag.
Detention for getting caught with your shirt tucked out-reasons whatsoever
I think DK is just making things light.
In my context, there will be detention for:
Wearing shoes that aren't white enough
Having a hair cut that is not slope enough
Not wearing the tie properly.
I'd say, by the end of 2007-with me crying-, the word used most number of times is "detention"
I need to sleep. 4 hours of sleep yesterday nearly made me faint when I had to handle with con acid today.
