weird sighting in Bedok.
A group of us decided to head to Sing-Post for lunch today. I was kind of coerced into doing so but since Dewei was such a kind soul to accompany me (pitiful me) to Bugis to do some emotional therapy, I felt it was only natural for me to return the favour.
We initially settled for Macdonald's, Zheng Hui's favourite fast food joint, but no sooner had we stepped into, we were greeted by an army of Primary School kids. It is common sense that seeing such a rowdy, over-sized group of monkeys, the best resort was to leave. Since Sing-Post had so many food joints, it didn't take long for us to find another place to fill our appetite. We had Long John.
I had the Grilled Set. The rice tasted awful although I tried to mask my true expressions by drowning myself with Coke. The fish was commendable but could had been done so much better. The salad tasted like...well..like a salad should. Thankfully.
We had a hearty conversation, albeit the dude beside was busy stuffing himself with fries and other fried delights rather than joining in the talk.
After which, I wanted to go home. But then, Zheng Hui suggested on us going to Tampiness to accompany him to buy his DS cartridge. I was hesitant, reluctant and refused to move so far just to buy something so small and expensive. But once again, I succumb to the majority and tagged along.
There was a commotion at Paya Lebar Station. A Malay dude was scolding the crap out of 2 Chinese fellows. God knows what the latter had done but judging by the wreckage, they must have done something really bad to earn themselves such a earful. Then along the way, something unexpected happened. We saw a "baby twister" or tornado or whatever you call it.
This column of wind just appeared out of no where and dug its roots somewhere at Marine Parade area. Julian said it was global warming. I said that it was just air pressure difference. What the hell. The sighting drew quite a reasonable amount of attention from the commuters, although the IJ and Anglican people seemed quite insouciance about the entire "fiasco". De wei was oblivious to the entire thing.
So after that, what happened was pretty mundane. We walked around Tampiness Mall. Zheng Hui go this cartridge and I was left with yet less money after the costly lunch.
Today's the last day of school; for the majority. I have 2 weeks of June occupied with studying new topics of Chem (yeah!), physics (go to hell), biology (still pending), A math (try try lor). Yes, it will be a busy week.
Mum's not cooking tonight. I think she's having her Girls' Night Out Party or something. I guess I have to settle for instant noodles. Ha.
Operation Itdatakimas will commence at 2100hours. The people who "sabo-ed" me into doing this, please come online at that time. I will be the bad guy. xD
