i'm thinking in the rain.
Torrential rain this early morning. I am so jealous of those who do not have to walk a slope to get to your run-down school or those whose mummy or daddy have a set of wheels. Unfortunately for me, I happened to be one of the few members- Amath into application here- who have to walk up a slope and not have a car. Rats.
But I guess I couldn't have the best of two worlds; just like most people say that if you have beauty, you don't have brains. For example, the dumb blonde. But really, not ALL blondes are dumb okay. Back to the topic. I was wishing for weather to be fine and cool this morning. This was because I was so unluckily stranded in the part of the hall where the fans seem to shun; always the case for me. =__= So, much to the dismay and frustration of others, I often shifted the fan to my direction; if you don't voice your complains...I'm deaf. [MUAHAHAHHA]
I guess I should have stopped wishing at the cool part. I just had to added the phrase "It would be better if it rained". Then, almost like magic, the sky darkened and before you could recite the menstrual cycle, it rained! Buckets and buckets of rain.
In the end, I had to take my Physics paper with swooshing shoes and socks. It was a traumatic experience okay?
Since yesterday till today, I have taken about 4 papers. But since they are all, pathetically, half-papers, I can only say that I have finished 2 subjects- excluding languages.
1. E.Math--> one word of caution. Do not nominate your teacher for Marist Teacher of the Year before she sets a paper. Because if she so happens to clinch the prize, she will make damn sure to show her prowess in paper setting. Which, for the better or worse, already happened. I reckon that I had lost a good 15 marks so far; plenty thanks to the building question and among other knick knacks. It was an unorthodox way of asking the question. And more often than not, I was cursing and cussing at the retarded way the questions were set. Frustrating.
2.Geography--> Television does help. Through Channel 8 shows, I got to learn more about rubber plantations and why their prices went free falling. And that so happened to be one of the questions set. Whoo! I bear more hope for geography than E.Math. How sad. And I though Math was my forte, apparently, it was an illusion. =(
3.Physics--> things were pretty okay with this nut. It was unusually calm and placid, not extra malicious or anything. I do hope for the best though. I wonder how did the book-burner faired...
4.Social Studies--> SBQ was mercifully short thanks to the Comparison questions substituted by Usefulness and Prove type of questions. I am only worried about writing out of point. Although I do think that the Singapore Government won't be that happy with me slamming the EDB though. SEQ was a copy and paste work from revision; I mean it. For buffs who did the question 3, check out the Chung Cheng Practice Paper. Except for the question 3a where they sub suitable workforce for foreign investors, the other question is directly the same. I should thank Tan Chin for this because, well, she did mark this for me. So if you are reading this, you can take your time to mark the SBQ; but I'm so gonna bombard you with more SEQ. [MUAHAHAHAHA].
I should take my leave now. To all the fellas out there, good luck and all the best.
May the force be with you...okay, I'm being lame.
