A.B.C.D.
At the moment, these 4 alphabets rule my entire life. Well, that is until coming Tuesday when I can kiss it good bye. Right now, they are giving me hell.
It doesn't really help when you have Khoo's image in your head, saying "The most you can get wrong is 2 questions". It doesn't help one bit. And I cannot shut her off! As for Physics, well, I am reconsidering my bid in using it as my L1R5.
I should stop brooding over the results of the O levels. My kin told me that nobody feels good about exams. I want to have that feeling during the Prelims. The sense of nonchalance. I think I can find it back. That might take some time though. Heh.
If my holidays are gonna be days like these, I will die.
I will die.
Seriously.
The notion of going out everyday is out because firstly, I don't have the financial means to do so and the places that a bunch of guys can go is very limited. Let's say, Heeren, Cineleisure, Paragon(?), Far East, Sing Post. And the stuff we can do is very limited as well: movies, movies, movies, movies, lunch, dinner, breakfast, crashing into each other in Daytona. And I am sorta sick of winning. xD
I don't suppose anyone of them is interested in popping down the Museum of other artsy places. Personally, I would like to go to the Asian Civilization Museum and take a good look instead of just blindly writing down it down in my Geography essays as one of the tourist attractions. And it has been a long long time since I had been to the Esplanade to watch a play or performance. The last time I went there was to watch Oliver Twist. I think I watched Singin' in the Rain there as well. I got home with some wet clothes though. =...=
I am applying for Japanese lessons with Zheng Hui and Dewei. I wonder what they would teach during the Beginners' Course though. If it's just plain Konichiwa then I am seriously gonna cry. I am not so worried about the part on conversation in Japanese. It's the written work that freaks me out. The curls, the straights and the funny swirls. I mean, it looks funky but how to write argh? I hope the tutor is a patient one; someone's gonna burst a blood vessel. Korean handwriting looks funky too; they seem to have nothing but circles.
The days are boring. I am doing MCQs day in day out and frankly, I am tired of it. For some questions, I can even predict what kind of stuff they want to ask. That is a good thing because you know that your answer is correct. Let's all pray that this year's MCQ are all re-runs as all of the British are drained of any more questions to torture paper-happy Singaporeans.
For the past 6 months, or was it 3 months, I reckon I had used at least 1500 pieces paper. How do I know? Well, I use those photocopy papers. They come in stacks of 500 pieces. So far, I have used 3 and am working on the 4 stack. The pile is still on my table though. I had to fold them to prevent a paper tower from being formed. I am not gonna burn them like my cousin suggests. That pollutes the environment. Tsk tsk. No larh, I am gonna dump them in the recycling bin downstairs. Perhaps along with the Physics textbook and other Sec1, 2 stuff as well. My affairs with Math have since died.
I consulted a teacher on the stream that I might land in at JC. The two JCs that I am considering are either VJ or SAJC. VJ seems awfully high up; but I am not saying that SAJC is long kang material too. They are a good lot except that their A level results aren't that remarkable. But as she said, all schools have bad apples or less succulent ones. It's an Arts Stream because I simply cannot stand another moment of Science. Kill me. So, I might land myself with H2 Math, then History, Econs and KI. Knowledge Inquiry. Whoa. God save me. I tried my cousin's GP paper once and he told me that my standard would at best secure a moderate mark or if it's a strict ass teacher, a fail. Gee. That's...I don't know.
Well. That's worry for later. Right now, I am focusing on the 7 points. It is rather late I know. No point brooding on what's done. Cry for alls' worth and the British are still gonna mark that answer wrong. Heh. So now, just work on the MCQs. 40 marks. Make or break? Yeah I guess. I am taking it slow today. Brain is on a strike already.
Garh.
