Karma.
I am sure those that went out with me today will easily grasp the crux of the title.
The gang went to Escape Theme Park. It was, suspiciously coincidentally, their 7th Anniversary and guess what? All the tickets were on sale for 7 bucks. But then, the best rides were closed. That would include my beloved Revolution.
I must say beforehand that I have an absolute fear of heights. I mean, right now, sitting down here, I can feel myself moving to and fro. The feeling is pretty much similar to how my clothes are going through when they are in the washing machine. It's the darn Inverter. I must say that I was seriously spooked when the contraption suspended in mid-air. For most of the time, I was closing my eyes and gripping onto the handle bars for dear life. Yes, I am sorta hum. But then, after a while, that fear got replaced by sudden pain. Pain in the sense that the blood in my veins in my head were throbbing. No doubt thanks to that constant spinning and tossing. Fear was gone and even more pain set in. This time it came from the horrendous safety bar that were crushing my thighs. This sends two signals: either I am fat or the machine is loco.
After that we went to the go-kart. I think I am banned there for life le. Let me tell you why.
I was having fun over-taking everyone; perhaps too much NFS already. I should stop crashing into the police patrols. So, when in parking, I forgot to hit the brakes. According to Newton's First Law, the force was transferred to Glen's car and it moved way way forward. He had broken one rule by leaving too. Argh. I mean, I also didn't know that; the girl didn't tell us and we didn't read the instructions as we were busy chatting about PAE.
And thus
The power of Karma set in
I walked out of my vehicle and slipped. I nearly fell but caught myself just in time. I swear that all eyes were on me and all were laughing. Ya ya. Karma. Well, what goes around comes around. I really wished that there was a burrow for my to hide my head.
I suppose the next note-worthy trip would be to the Haunted House.
It was fun.
I went there twice. First was to scare myself but ended up feeling sorry for the "female ghost" who sat there for eons scaring the crap out of girls and unsuspected few. I mean. I have watched and read enough ghost stories to know what's coming so I pretty much expected that. For the account, the Haunted Mansion is a combination of Chinese and English horrors. Female ghosts don't have long hair and wear white blouses in English pictures.
So. In the end, I was the one leading the pack throughout the journey. I was seriously irritated by the incessant screaming. Okay, it was scary but not that scary. Most of the time, I was worried about banging into the wall because of the stupid lighting and the retarded drapes. I must say that the Frankenstein touch was nifty though; it caught me off-guard but then, after that, I was laughing my ass off but how much Franky was hurt and still sat on the chair.
While the rest went to take the Inverter again, Jose, Dewei and I went to the Haunted Mansion again. This time I went there to feel the atmosphere. It might come in handy; you never know. Let's say in compositions or making boutique restaurants. The second time, the 'female ghost' wasn't there. Obviously tired larh; I hope she rests well. xD
On the whole, the trip was fun.
We went to :
1. Some Yakult ride which I felt like I was Buzz lightyear. *** half
2. Haunted Mansion: **** stars.
3. Tea-cups: *** stars. Stupid larh this ride; I was trying to find my balance as I didn't had a partner and was sliding left and right, banging into the seat as the cup revolved about.
4. Inverter: ***** stars. But hell I'm not going there again. Maybe next year but not any time soon okay?
5. Advanced Go-Karts: **** stars. I think I am banned from there le. Ah. Singapore Expressways, beware of me. No larh.
Then after all that screaming, we headed to play pool.
It was stupid.
I handed victories to Glen, Jose and Dewei when I popped the black ball into the wrong hole. Either it's that or my white ball also went in with the black. Stupid larh. STUPID! I was furious. But then, in the end, I know myself that my skills have improved. ^___^ So, anyone wanna play pool again, I am a potential good player. I still need to learn how to break though and not send my balls to the longkang all the time. Garh.
After that we went to Bugis to have dinner when the rest upped and left when they heard that I had dinner bought at home already. Well, you can't blame me for my Dad was home early and bought makan already. They ate at Delifrance- waste of money- while I stayed with Jose and chatted with him while he had his meepok.
Then, I went to OG to meet my Mum to buy some stuff.
Then I came home
There is a cycling trip tomorrow and my swimming lessons commence on Sunday. Gosh, this is like a marathon. I hope I have sufficient fuel to last that long.
