Calculated risks.
So I just had to pick the bike with those comforting handle bars. So my bike started to give out weird noises when I pedal. Signs.
Firstly, the chain came off. No big deal; I can also attach it back just that my fingers looked like they were dipped in tar. Secondly, the entire rear spinner wheel or whatever you call it came off. Well not literally, but it jutted out of its 'place' a good bit. In the end, I had to walk about 2-3km back to the stupid kiosk where I got reprimanded by the uncle for not treating his bike properly.
I must first thank Weijian here for walking back with me. He on his bike and me on foot. Well, I cannot possibly say yes to that attractive offer of swapping positions. It's my own bad luck for picking this rotten piece of metal, I have to be responsible. But I must say that anger got the better of me today. I was like..I don't know. But I don't think anyone of them saw me erupting.
We wanted to catch up with the rest of the folks: Julian, Dewei and Zhenghui. But when we heard that they were at Changi Beach-so romantic xD- and there was only 15 minutes left, we cycled back. In the end, the last two persons had to pay a 'fine' of 5 bucks.
I want to go to Changi Beach some day. Not next week though cause I think I want to listen to my doctor's advice of steering clear of the sun even though I had my cap on today.
We went to VJC later. Under my persuasions, I got the group to walk there. It was about 15 minutes? Good way to work out the digested food; I didn't eat so it didn't matter. What the heck.
The food there looks decent. Seriously, 4 years in Maris Stella eating Nonya Manis nonsense, any food looks more delicious.
Well, got to go. So tired. Tomorrow got swimming some more. Urgh.
