Light.
Primary school mates gathering today. It was fun.
I met three ladies at SingPost today; only to find out later that we were going to Parkway Parade to buy gummie bears for Dena the birthday girl. If I had caught hold of that information earlier, I would had went directly to Parkway Parade and met them there. But hey, I'm not complaining, it's not everyday that I get to go out with girls. Being in a boys' school for 4 years does restrict your social circle significantly.
They found out that I had already bought a Porsche for the gal so in the end, I only had to pay 20 cents for the candies. That amount, I seriously doubt, is insufficient to pay for the GST. We later went to play pool while waiting for the rest.
Lads. In the army, remind me NEVER EVER to play pool. I absolutely suck at the game. Well, my performance was better when I was up against Quan Yi...Perhaps I was just a wee bit awkward playing in front of the girls. Making all those silly blunders and errors.
Dang.
The gang soon arrived. We chatted and then headed to East Coast Park.
We rode and bladed for like 45minutes before the skies sent buckets of rain down upon us. Great. My hair was soaked. My shirt was soaked. And my bike which had lousy braking was now a truck equipped with nitrous. I had to use my feet to aid in the braking. But we pit stop at the Lagoon. Thankfully. Oh, I ate sea coconut there. Nice.
We talked some more and eventually headed back to return our bikes. How sad, I was hoping to cycle even a greater length.
Then, we went back to Parkway Parade. They played arcade games and I finally learned the true meaning of drifting thanks to Yi Hao. He he, next time I can own people le.
Dinner was nice. We went to Hans and talked even more. Quan Yi was like the bulldozer; finishing all the stuff that the girls didn't want. Er...
Then they talked about girls and guys and crushes and all. I eventually got asked whether I still had the hots for Weiting. I then realised that I didn't. In the past, when such a question was thrown at me, I would feel rather flustered. My throat seemingly been brushed with sand paper. Now, I could just coolly answer a 'no'. It happened two years ago now. I took a good one year before I can say that 'no'. So it's perhaps a good thing that I am not going to commit myself to a relationship any time soon. Just going to study- so Julian and Weijian can go hunting ya?
I thought the night was drawing to a close.
I was wrong.
Pool crazy Daphne wanted more rounds of pool. I lost to her you know. Ah...(hides in the wardrobe and cry). I had to go home already cause I needed to take my medication. Plus, my cash was running real low. Sorry folks.
Happy Birthday Dena.
