road ahead.
According to blogger, this is my 340th post. Coincidentally, add those digits up and you get the raw score of my L1R5 for the O levels.
The group met up early today at around 11am at SingPost to lunch. We met at Subway- probably influenced by yours' truly healthy eating habits. We sat and chatted. I skipped lunch because seriously, I didn't had much of an appetite. We talked some more before someone suggested crashing lessons back at Maris Stella. We quickly agreed to that notion and headed back to the compound that we spent 4 years of our life on.
The canteen still served shitty food. The vending machines looked the same; old, run-down, miserable. The only new things back at Maris Stella were the young teachers; quite a number of them to be exact.
The group combed from the 4A classroom downwards. We waved at Wei Jin and proceeded downstairs where we found Tan-China and KYK. The latter seemed awfully happy-justified by us doing rather well for Math this year. Tan Chin didn't say much which was quite expected. We then loitered around the area before heading to the labs where we found Varella. We had a little talk and he said that there was a top Singaporean scholar from our class. Turns out to be Julian. Haha. Smart dude.
I broke off from the main group and joined dewei and others at the LTK Low Hall to play some icebreaker games. Strange thing is, our friendship is to global warming level; okay that's lame
2pm loomed nearer.
Then they flashed the name lists. I didn't get there; and I was really starting to freak out. My hands were shaking as I signed my name on the slip but thankfully, I got a 7 which secured my spot in VJC. (PHEW) The gang then parted.
I soon got flooded by calls from relatives and friends asking how I did. Many of my friends did well or even better; not surprising. Seems like 08S33 is sticking together, for the better or for the worse, this coming 2008. Haha. =)
I then lunched or rather had dinner with my Mum and Aunt and little cousin. The last fella congratulated me when I was text messaging- much to the annoyance of my Aunt who chided me. Haha. We headed to Vivocity's Bakerzin.
I then went shopping around looking for my bag. I needed one since the Converse looked like Brother's retriever's used it as their chew toy. I walked and walked and in the end, I ended up at Wheelock and bought a crumpler. Lol.
Gonna relax tonight and tomorrow.
Mug? Maybe on Saturday. Haha.
